Planning Association Region Rostock

The Planning Association Region Rostock (formerly named as "Regional Planning Association Mid Mecklenburg/ Rostock") was established in 1992 on the basis of the first federal states planning act of Mecklenburg- Western Pomerania. It is a body of public law. Its members are: the hanseatic city of Rostock, the administrative district as well as the intermediate centres Bad Doberan, Güstrow and Teterow. The main task of the Planning Association is regional planning as an essential element of federal state planning. In order to perform this task different organs and committees have been established.
